That, after not one, but 2 suspected drunk drivers slammed into CSP cars that were pulled over to begin an investigation of a separate crash along I-270 in Adams County. In video of one of the 2 incidents, a trooper can be seen jumping off a highway bridge to avoid getting hit. Trooper Keith Bagley ended up falling about 30 feet and suffering several injuries, but landed on soft ground, so he could walk away. The Patrol says after the near miss, it’s stepping up DUI enforcement.
