Just after midnight on November 19th last year, a gunman opened fire, killing 5 people. Another 17 were injured. Sunday at noon, the parents of one of the victims, Daniel Axton, held a remembrance ceremony, outside the former club location. It’s been closed ever since the shooting. The owners would like to turn it into a permanent memorial to those victims. They also plan to soon open a new club in a different location. That one will simply be known as ‘The Q.’
