Search crews say Chad Pallansch (PAL-antsh), from Fort Collins, set out from the east inlet trailhead near Grand Lake last Wednesday, but no one’s heard from him since. Dozens of searchers from multiple crews fanned out along his 28-mile route over the weekend, along with a heat-sensing airplane. The National Parks Service is asking anyone who saw Pallansch on the trails, to reach out to them.
