The Sheriff’s office there says the problem is due to all the rain they’ve gotten, softening up mountainside soil and letting big rocks roll down. Several were photographed Tuesday, having landed on the county bike path, between Frisco and Copper Mountain. No one was injured. The county’s reminding locals to be looking out for more boulders to fall, as those late summer-early autumn rains continue.
