In case you missed the state rivals’ college football matchup Saturday night, the CU Buffs managed to rack up 43 points, to the CSU Rams’ 35, in double overtime. And that, despite Rams’ quarterback Braden Fowler-Nicolosi completing 34 of 47 passes for 367 yards and 3 touchdowns. The unbeaten Number 19 Buffaloes stampede into Oregon next Saturday to face the Number 10 Ducks. The Rams visit Middle Tennessee.
The Rockies’ 5-game win streak was snapped Sunday by the San Francisco Giants at Coors Field. Colorado came back from a 9-nothing deficit, but still lost the game 11 to 10.
