The Sheriff’s office says the girl was walking on a path near Nevin Platt Middle School, on Boulder’s Baseline Road.  She told investigators the man grabbed her and pushed her down.  The girl says she screamed for help and kicked at the man, pushing him away, and then she called 911.  A short time later, deputies arrested 32-year-old Cole Priest, who matched the child’s description.  He’s in jail, being investigated for 3rd-degree assault, false imprisonment, and child abuse.  Investigators believe he may have tried the same with other kids.  They’re asking other potential victims or witnesses to come forward.
