Today, a Colorado Marine killed during a military drill on the other side of the world will come home for the final time…

Major Tobin Lewis, known to friends as “Toby,” from Conifer, was one of 4 killed when their aircraft went down off the coast of Australia last month. This afternoon, his body will be flown to the Denver area’s Centennial Airport. Groups supporting his family are organizing a procession, from the airport to a cemetery in Evergreen. They’ll follow Colorado Highway 470 to US 285, then will drive north into Evergreen. They’re asking locals to line that route with flags, in support of the Lewis family.
