We can expect another warm to hot day statewide today, before really big weather changes for all of Colorado…
(Hot CO Wx, Big Rain :25)
This is predicted to be the 10th straight day of temperatures in the 90’s, across a wide swath of the state. Forecasters say a big ridge of high pressure has dominated our weather in the past week, boosting the mercury so high, but now it’s expected to weaken a little. After more highs in the 90’s today, Friday and Saturday are expected to be completely different, with temperatures as much as 20 degrees cooler, and the whole state likely to get heavy rain, more than an inch in many areas, which could lead to flash flooding.
