That won’t be due to the usual reasons like crashes or mudslides, but this time it’ll be because crews will be making repairs next to the road. CDOT and Xcel Energy will be replacing power lines and poles along the interstate, and using helicopters to do it. CDOT says there’ll be traffic holds happening tomorrow through Thursday, with some 15 flights already scheduled to get that work done. Each of those holds will be relatively brief, only about 10 minutes at a time.
