Weiser and his colleagues are calling on the judge to reject the settlement, saying it doesn’t give water suppliers enough time to determine how much money each would get, and whether that would be enough. Weiser says the state is still learning how much P-FAS chemicals are really out there, and just what their effects are. Meanwhile, he says he and the other AG’s are trying to make their demands clear, that a bad deal is simply unacceptable.
