That trial wrapped up Tuesday, with 35-year-old Rigoberto Valles-Dominguez (BYE-ehz doh-MING-gehz) found guilty on 10 criminal counts. The incident had happened in September of 2021, when officers showed up to a call about someone suffering gunshot wounds. They found Valles-Dominguez, and chased him into an apartment building. That’s when he shot Officer David Snook 3 times. Snook survived. Tuesday, the jury convicted Valles-Dominguez of attempted murder, assault, and robbery. He’ll be sentenced in September.
