It turns out Kremmling can’t do fireworks, because its best place to launch them in previous years has been taken over by the nest of a family of eagles. The nest was discovered only a few days ago. There’s technically another spot along the Kremmling cliffs that’s approved for fireworks, but the town says it would just be too dangerous to the birds, so there won’t be a display this time around.
