You’ll remember it was determined earlier this year that late 2021’s Marshall Fire in Boulder County had 2 starting points, that merged into that devastating blaze. One of them was where a small religious sect many would call a “cult” had been burning their trash a few days before. Now video and audio are out, of one member of the group “Twelve Tribes” talking to authorities. That man, not identified because authorities say he committed no crime, talked to police several times, and those interview clips are coming out now…

That talk with authorities was on the phone. The man also told them in person about using a front-end loader to cover the trash fire on Christmas Eve, 5 days before the Marshall Fire really got started…

He says Twelve Tribes thought their trash procedure was good, until apparently it wasn’t. The smoldering trash fire has been determined to have been one of the Marshall Fire’s 2 origin points days later, when more than a thousand homes were lost. The investigators believed him… the Twelve Tribes group was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing.
