Anthony Sanchez was arrested in Otero County last week, after trying to run into multiple other cars with the one he’d been driving. When they took eyes off him in the back of a patrol car for only a moment, Sanchez contorted his body to move his handcuffs to the front, squeezed through a 1-foot-wide window, and jumped into the driver’s seat of the car he’d been held in. They chased him for 37 miles, until Sanchez ran over their stop sticks and crashed the cruiser into a parked semi, killing himself. CSP’s Colonel Matthew Packard…
