Wilbert Howard is in the Larimer County Jail, accused of second-degree assault and child abuse, resulting from an incident that happened while he was off-duty. The Loveland Police say it has to do with something that happened at Howard’s home in Fort Collins. Police found out about it a week ago. Howard had been with the Loveland department 17 years. He’s currently on administrative leave, and that department has started an internal investigation. Monday, Larimer deputies arrested another Loveland officer, Dylan (dillon) Miller, who’s accused of assaulting a 15-year-old girl while on the job last summer. He was immediately fired. Miller’s due in court Monday.
