Six voters are suing to remove the ex-President from the ballot, saying he’s not eligible under the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, because he incited the January 6th, 2021 insurrection at the Capitol.  Prominent Colorado conservatives recently turned on Buck, in part because they claim he’s not supportive enough of Trump.  Then Buck testified Thursday, telling the judge January 6th was terrible, but he didn’t believe it was Trump’s fault.  Buck criticized the findings of the Congressional report on the incident, which is key to the voters’ trial case…

Buck’s testimony was limited to his experience on January 6th, and his thoughts on a special Congressional report about it.  That meant there wasn’t a way to hear Buck explain under oath, his apparently-contradictory positions on the damage done by election denialism.  Buck was asked that question, but the Trump lawyers objected.
