Gearing up for tonight’s college football “Border War” in Laramie, Colorado State and Wyoming staged their 33rd annual Bronze Boot Run Thursday, from one stadium to the other. CSU’s ROTC members ran the game ball 40 miles uphill from Fort Collins’ Canvas Stadium to the northern border. Then the coaches met, and Wyoming’s ROTC took it the rest of the way to War Memorial for this evening’s game, that kicks off at 6.
Tomorrow night, the CU Buffs take on the Beavers of Oregon State. The Beavs are favored by 2 touchdowns. Coach Prime says he’s talked directly to his offensive line about better quarterback protection.
Tonight, the Nuggets are in Dallas, visiting the Mavericks.
And the Avalanche are on the way to Vegas, where they’ll skate against the Golden Knights tomorrow evening.
