(DiStefano to Step Down at CU :22)
Chancellor Phil DiStefano (dih-STEHF-uh-noh) announced his retirement Tuesday in his State of The Campus address. DiStefano has been Chancellor for almost 15 years. He started his CU career as an assistant professor, back in 1974. DiStefano says he plans to return to the faculty in the School of Education after he steps down. CU officials say there’ll be a nationwide search to find his successor.
