Big spring storms roared into parts of Colorado Thursday afternoon and last night, but while a lot of water arrived, it doesn’t look like any of that weather was severe…

There was heavy rain, there was hail, and some of the Denver area got up to 2 inches of rain in about 20 minutes last evening, enough to flood some streets, but it appeared drainage worked well in most of those locations on the front range. In the mountains, a mudslide shut down part of state Highway 125 north of Granby in Grand County, and first responders in Larimer County urged many locals to get to higher ground during some Thursday afternoon flash flooding. It didn’t appear any of that weather was really threatening or dangerous, though, just a lot of water in most locations that should’ve helped with dry conditions. Forecasters say there may be some areas of rain continuing into this morning.
