(Scooter Owner Killed by Thief vxr :38)
Aurora Police arrested that teen Saturday. Last night, the department announced there’ll soon be additional arrests in that case. The situation there started a week and a half ago, when police say Miguel Saucedo Araujo and his son had woken up to the sounds of people in their back yard, and when they went out there, they saw 2 people stealing the family’s scooters that had been parked. Police say the thieves rode off on the scooters, and the father and son drove after them, in their car. But when the thieves shot at the car, the family turned around to go home. Police say when they got there, someone fired guns into the house, killing Mr. Saucedo Araujo. Officers aren’t identifying the suspect because he’s under 18, but he’s in jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.
