The “tactical training group” whose members protested at Douglas County’s Pride Festival last weekend, are no longer working with at least one law enforcement agency…

The group calling itself “Able Shepherd” will not participate in a scheduled event this week with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. The group wouldn’t comment Wednesday about how many law enforcement agencies are cutting ties with it, following last weekend’s protest. And “Able Shepherd” denied any involvement with the demonstration that disrupted the family-friendly drag show at last Saturday’s Pride Fest. That’s where dozens of its members wearing “Stand to Protect Children” t-shirts blocked the view of the stage, and according to some parents, scared their kids. The group members claim they weren’t acting in their group’s name, despite it having sent a mass email, recruiting them to be there.
