When the Broncos made their final cuts to the 53-man regular-season team Monday, tight end Albert Okuegbunam or “Albert O,” who played well last Saturday, wasn’t just cut, he was traded, to the Philadelphia Eagles. No word yet on what or whom Denver got in return for him. The all-time leading runner in college football, Jaleel McLaughlin, has made the Broncos roster. Some say Coach Sean Payton may make more moves, before the regular NFL season begins.
The Rockies & Braves continued their Coors Field series last night. Although no fans got on the field this time, the result was the same– World Series favorite Atlanta still beat Colorado, the final 3 to 1.
