That happened near the 28th & Valmont intersection in Boulder. The fire department there says a battalion chief was at a call, when another driver crashed into his department pickup. The chief was taken to a local hospital, but so were a woman and child who’d been in the car that hit him. Boulder Fire says fortunately, none of them were seriously hurt.
