It happened Saturday afternoon, when rangers say the 2 people were climbing together.  They’d been descending the Flying Dutchman couloir (KOOL-wahr), between Long’s Peak and Mount Meeker.  The 21-year-old woman from Severance (SEH-ver-ants) was killed, when she fell some 300 feet.  The man who’d been with her ended up with critical injuries, as well.  Dozens of rescuers joined the effort and got the man off the mountain.  Crews were still working Sunday night trying to remove the woman’s body.  They were reportedly hampered by bad weather during the day Sunday.
