The Air Force had originally said Space Command should turn its temporary setup at Peterson SpaceForce Base into its permanent headquarters. But in Mr. Trump’s final days in office, the call was made to move it to Huntsville. Local leaders and Colorado lawmakers were angered at that time, but now more than 2 years later, the switch has been undone.
