(CO Wx Returns to Dry :34)
The meteorologists say they’re glad to get a bit of a break for some “regular” weather… they’ve been very busy so far in ’23, with a very wet first half of the year. In fact, they say this year has been the 2nd-wettest start to a Colorado calendar year on record, especially in the Denver area and most of the front range. But now a generally dry, warm weather pattern has settled in over much of the state. The forecasters look for the potential of maybe a small “pop-up” rainshower or 2 in the San Juan mountains of the southwest today, but for the most part, all of Colorado should continue sunny, and warm to hot. Denver had its highest temperature of the year so far on Tuesday, at 92 degrees.
