(Clear Creek Glass Shooting Latest wrap 1:02)
231117 Simon Glass- first admission of guilt :07 Q:…by anybody there…
Nearly a year and a half after a deputy shot and killed Simon Glass’ son Christian, who’d called 911 for help, one of the officers involved in his death has admitted some responsibility. Former Clear Creek County Deputy Kyle Gould has pleaded guilty to 2 misdemeanors, for giving the order to break into Glass’ car that night. Gould wasn’t even on the scene– he was watching the incident through body camera video livestreams. Prosecutors say Gould’s decision is what escalated that situation, leading another deputy, Andrew Buen (BYOON) to shoot and kill Glass, who’d done nothing wrong. Thursday, a judge sentenced Gould to probation. Christian’s mom Sally says she has to be at peace with that sentence…

Gould will also have to pay a one thousand dollar fine, and he can’t work in Colorado law enforcement anymore. Buen, who did the actual shooting, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. He’ll be back in court in December for a hearing on whether to move his trial out of Clear Creek County.
