Colorado Parks & Wildlife says people saw the bear walking through the kitchen of the St. Regis hotel late Monday night. On the recording, the guard goes in to check things out, and apparently startles the bear, who stands up on its hind legs and essentially throws the man down. The recording then shows the bear running off. The guard went to the local hospital with some scratches on his back, and will reportedly be OK. CPW says the bear was found Tuesday night. Because it had attacked a person, the bear was euthanized.
