The Broncos will be trying to bounce back this weekend from that epic 70 to 20 Sunday loss to the Dolphins. And maybe they have the right opponent to get well against. The Chicago Sun-Times has “graded” the 0 & 3 Bears’ various position groups, and given them all “F’s.” While the Broncos were losing by 50 this past weekend, the Bears were losing by 31 points. So in terms of point differential, this game’s expected to be the worst Week 4 matchup in NFL history. Winless Denver is favored by oddsmakers to get that first victory, however.
The Avalanche skated to an NHL pre-season win over the Golden Knights last evening, skating by Vegas 3 to 2. The NHL regular season opens in 2 weeks.
The Rockies are only one loss away from reaching the “magic” number of 100 losses on the year’s baseball campaign. Colorado hosts the first-place Dodgers today at Coors Field, with only 7 games left in the regular season.
