State wildlife officers are warning of an aggressive moose, after that animal attacked a woman on a trail in Boulder County…
(Boulder Co Moose Attack :28)
Colorado Parks & Wildlife says the woman was walking her dog and surprised the moose, on the South St. Vrain Trail near Ward, early Monday morning. The moose reportedly charged the woman, head-butted her, and stomped on her several times. CPW says she was able to walk to a neighbor’s house, call 911, and get to a hospital. Her dog had some minor injuries, as well. For a while, wildlife officers couldn’t find the moose. They’ve now put up signs along that trail, warning visitors there could be an aggressive animal in the area.
