The local visitors’ bureau now says the Buffs’ first home game of the season against Nebraska generated some 18 million dollars in economic impact. Some say, however, that might be a bit of a stretch. Reporters have talked to MSU-Denver economics professor Kishore Kulkarni, who says that number could be partially an optimistic exaggeration, but there is still definitely some impact caused by the new thousands of fans out partying around Folsom Field, and some other people are clearly making money from it…
