A litter of bobcat kittens was recently found in Louisville (LEWIS-ville), in need of care after being orphaned when their mother was hit and killed by a car. The babies are estimated to be about 5 weeks old– old enough to be done nursing, but not ready to fend for themselves. The team at Greenwood Wildlife Rehab Center doesn\u2019t want them to get too used to being around people, so they\u2019re only interacting with the babies once a day, according to the center\u2019s Amanda Manoa\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what she and her team are looking for. Unfortunately, the smallest of the 4 kittens died overnight Sunday, but the surviving 3 seem to be OK. The rehabbers think there might be one more member of the litter still out near Louisville. They\u2019re looking to find that baby, then take the entire group to another rehab closer to the mountains.
