For the entire week of June 28th<\/sup> through Wednesday July 5th<\/sup>, unprecedented air travel around the US is expected. This past Friday, more than 2.8 million Americans flew somewhere, and that\u2019s the most passengers in a single day, ever. Delays and cancellations only had an impact on a small percentage of flights, and airports, Friday through the weekend. But, that all came after a week of problems. Sunday, more than 29 thousand flights nationwide got delayed, with 1200 cancellations. At Colorado\u2019s biggest airport, Denver International, there were some 350 Sunday delays, and 6 flights cancelled. Most of those problems involved United and Southwest Airlines, but showed a marked improvement from earlier last week, when half of each of those airlines\u2019 schedules were running late.
