The Colorado State Patrol is looking at whether to change policy, after a man they\u2019d arrested this week stole a patrol car and led troopers on a chase that ended in a fatal crash\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anthony Sanchez was arrested in Otero County last week, after trying to run into multiple other cars with the one he\u2019d been driving. When they took eyes off him in the back of a patrol car for only a moment, Sanchez contorted his body to move his handcuffs to the front, squeezed through a 1-foot-wide window, and jumped into the driver\u2019s seat of the car he\u2019d been held in. They chased him for 37 miles, until Sanchez ran over their stop sticks and crashed the cruiser into a parked semi, killing himself. CSP\u2019s Colonel Matthew Packard\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
