Nearly a year and a half after a deputy shot and killed Simon Glass\u2019 son Christian, who\u2019d called 911 for help, one of the officers involved in his death has admitted some responsibility. Former Clear Creek County Deputy Kyle Gould has pleaded guilty to 2 misdemeanors, for giving the order to break into Glass\u2019 car that night. Gould wasn\u2019t even on the scene– he was watching the incident through body camera video livestreams. Prosecutors say Gould\u2019s decision is what escalated that situation, leading another deputy, Andrew Buen (BYOON) to shoot and kill Glass, who\u2019d done nothing wrong. Thursday, a judge sentenced Gould to probation. Christian\u2019s mom Sally says she has to be at peace with that sentence\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gould will also have to pay a one thousand dollar fine, and he can\u2019t work in Colorado law enforcement anymore. Buen, who did the actual shooting, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.
