Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman appeared poised to win re-election last night, with 55% of the votes, to Democratic opponent Juan Marcano\u2019s 38%. Coffman told some reporters he wants to get his proposal to give the office more power, back on the ballot sometime in the coming 2 years. He abandoned that idea earlier this year, after the public learned he\u2019d secretly funded and organized that plan himself. Coffman\u2019s proposal would\u2019ve allowed Mayors to run for a 3rd<\/sup> term.
