The sheriff\u2019s office there isn\u2019t sharing the specifics of the allegations against deputy Dustin Barbee, only describing them as, in these words, \u201cextremely serious.\u201d They say it has to do with something that happened during a call about an unwanted person at a home in Grand Lake, back on August 20th<\/sup>. The Sheriff\u2019s Office says Barbee and another deputy arrested a woman at that house, after some kind of \u201caltercation.\u201d Supervisors were concerned enough to launch an investigation 2 days later. The sheriff\u2019s office now says the local DA is charging Barbee with 3rd<\/sup>-degree assault, false imprisonment, official oppression, and misconduct.
