Temperatures in a lot of the state have been pretty summer-like, in the 70\u2019s and 80\u2019s, most of the past month, but the meteorologists remind us a big change is coming. Colorado\u2019s actually said to be a week or so behind its usual schedule, because the average date of the first snow, at least in the Denver area, is usually around October 18th<\/sup>. The earliest it\u2019s arrived was September 3rd<\/sup> back in 1961, and the latest just a couple years ago, on December 10th<\/sup> in 2021. Low pressure that\u2019s currently off the northwest coast is expected to bring the big change. Forecasters say they now anticipate sort of a \u201cparade\u201d of storms, with a cold front moving through the state today, another system coming Saturday, then even colder temps and significant snow on the front range Sunday.
