The meteorologists note this month has been unseasonably warm, especially on the front range, with several October days reaching the upper 80\u2019s. And that could lead to record-setting heat today, with the top mark for Denver of 87 degrees having been set back in 1973. The prediction there is for a high at least in that 80-degree area today. But as high pressure moves east later in the week and a low system comes in, next weekend is expected to at least be much cooler.
