That decision was issued late Saturday night. It stops the state from enforcing the ban, as that case moves through the courts. A Catholic health clinic in Englewood sued to stop the law, back in April. It claimed the ban violated that religious organization\u2019s First Amendment rights. The clinic claimed it provided \u201creversal\u201d treatments to dozens of women, by giving them large doses of hormones, intended to \u201cundo\u201d medication abortions. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says that approach is not backed by science. Despite that, the new ruling means the state cannot enforce the ban while courts consider the Catholic group\u2019s suit, which could take years.
