Finding \u201cspare\u201d wolves from other states has been a challenge. Colorado asked Wyoming for wolves, and was told \u201cno.\u201d Idaho and Montana also turned Colorado down. State Parks & Wildlife says it\u2019s now talking with Oregon and Washington. Complicating the search further, Colorado Politics now reports some state lawmakers want to know if Colorado would be taking in animals that have histories of attacks. That came up at a committee meeting this week. Wildlife officials have long said wolves with a history of attacking livestock or pets are more likely to do it again.
