The Gazette newspapers report a Defense Department review found many freshman cadets saying the school can often feel like a prison. The review says freshmen at the Academy aren\u2019t even acknowledged by their peers as cadets, amid unprofessional leadership, hazing, and harassment that would be unacceptable in other environments. The cadets told evaluators they feel like they can\u2019t seek physical or mental healthcare on campus, and it\u2019s difficult to get transportation off-campus.
