Copper says it hopes improving its soil could lead to better snow in the future, by doing what\u2019s known as \u201ccarbon sequestration.\u201d They\u2019re trying to take some carbon out of the atmosphere, and put it into the ground beneath the trails. To do that, volunteers have spread native plant seeds from drought-resistant grasses and flowers onto the surface. The study will be done in 4 areas on the mountain, a 10-year experiment to see which approach has the most environmental benefit. Resort ecologist Jeff Grasser\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
