CDOT just shut down one lane of the eastbound interstate around 10 last night. The work to be done is coming between the Eisenhower-Johnson tunnels and the Georgetown on-ramps. Crews will be re-paving part of the eastbound interstate surface and some ramps, as well as replacing guardrails, and installing as many as 200 new signs. They\u2019re also trying to keep the closures and work limited to the overnight hours, when there\u2019s less traffic. It all started last night and after work begins each night at 6, the highway should reopen by about 8 each morning \u2018til that work is done. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
