First responders in Grand County are searching for a woman who\u2019s now been missing for weeks\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They found her rental car parked at a trailhead almost 2 weeks ago, but only started looking for her this past weekend. The Sheriff\u2019s office says they first noticed the car parked at the Dead Horse trailhead near Fraser (FRAY-zhuhr) and County Road 73 at the start of this month. The car had been due to be returned last Thursday, but it came and went, and the car was still there. Investigators started looking further into it, and found the car was connected to Svetlana Ustimenko (you-stih-MENK-oh). She\u2019s from Florida, and is still missing. Grand County responders searched the area around the car 3 days in a row, using search & rescue crews, dogs, and drones, but there were no signs of her. The Sheriff\u2019s office says it now hopes hikers or mountain bikers in the area may have seen Ustimenko, perhaps even given her a ride somewhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
