(Two Yuma County Tornadoes vxr\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :36)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two tornadoes touched down near Yuma, on the northeastern plains, Tuesday afternoon. One of the funnel clouds stayed on the ground for a while, and carved a path southeast, closer to Wray. Yuma Police say there was some property damage across the county, but thankfully no one was hurt. Some damage was reported done by baseball-size hail, however. Then, most of the northeastern quarter of the state had to remain alert under a severe thunderstorm watch last night and this morning. Farther south, golf ball-size hail was reported around Kiowa and Prowers Counties. Meteorologists say today should be much nicer everywhere, with calm, sunny weather expected statewide.
