The Governor’s order cuts down the amount of time state housing officials have, to approve affordable housing’s loans and grants. That’s expected to speed up construction, but it’s not expected to go nearly as far as his projected land-use bill. The new order is said not to impact zoning statewide, or the approvals pending for additional dwelling units.
